Perhaps some of you may remember my Drummer Dude publication which was available in drum shops throughtout the world in the late 1990's. A combination of health issues and other business chores forced me into a sabatical until I was able to give Drummer Dude the proper attention it deserved.

Shortly, I'll be returning with all new material, primarily focusing on artists (drummers/percussionists) who are dedicated more to their craft then hairstyles, hair color, body pierceing or tatoos.

This site will cater to independant musicians creating music of many diverse styles. Possibly, the only common link they may share are their passion to create music that pays no mind to corporate radio formats or big box store cd sales.

I am currently gathering information and writing stories on serious drummers who are always busy recording and touring. Much to busy to be distracted by the fuss given to narrsisstic pop icons of today.

On this site, I will also honor great players who have passed on. These are artists who have given their lives to the music they loved. They wrote and performed music without the need to have their music played over and over again on big corporate radio stations. For these artists, their music was their sole reward. They scoffed at how industry musicians pompously gauge the importance of music by how many, and exactly which vanity trophies are given out.
